I am an anti-violence advocate, social worker, community organizer, and parent. I am a white cis-female with a Jewish cultural and spiritual identity. I love engaging with perspectives different from my own, taking on challenges that appear intractable, collaborating with diverse teams, and transforming abstract ideas into implementable projects.

I was born and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn, N.Y, what I refer to as the Old Bed-Stuy, not the New Bed-Stuy!" Previously I worked as a Project Manager for the Mayor's Action Plan (M.A.P’s), Neighborhood Safety Initiative (NSI) for the Brownsville Houses, NYCHA Development.

I am a graduate from Columbia University’s School of Social Work (CUSSW), a mother of three and a returning citizen. My last position was at the (CCI) / Red Hook Community Justice Center working as an intern in the Art Strategies Department.
